We have a family oriented event just around the corner. On March 16, LIYTC will be hosting our Family Brunch & Easter Egg Hunt. Starting at 12:30, we will have brunch, Easter activities, and then the Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt is open to children under 13. The cost for this activity is $7.00 per adult and $5.00 per child. We are looking for volunteers for this event and food donations. Please contact me to let me know if you can volunteer and/or make a donation.
Are you looking to relax on Friday nights with or without the kids? Don’t forget about the Friday night babysitting service. Relax by the water or in the bar while your children play in the backroom with a babysitter. The cost if you stay on the club’s premises is $5.00 per member child and $10 per non-member child. Prices increase by $10.00 each child if you go off premises. The service begins at 6 pm and goes until midnight on Friday nights..
On another note, Swim Team is just around the corner. Kickoff will be in late May and practices and meets begin in June and goes through July. Watch the website for more information.
And one last comment, let’s get the children back to the club. I need ideas from you on what activities you think your children would enjoy. I welcome your suggestions. See you at the Family Brunch & Easter Egg Hunt!
Karate Camp (This information may have changed. check with Nick Brown)
Karate classes are underway on Tuesday nights, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. for children and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. for adults, and we’re having a good turnout. The cost for a member is $25.00 per person per month. Nonmembers are more than welcome. The cost for a nonmember is $35 per month. A portion of the fees goes directly to the Club. Children from 5 years old and up are eligible.
